ONCE MORE for the sadistic forced birthers: outlawing abortion increases the number of abortions; it just maims, sterilizes and kills women in the process. Which evidently excites you, you sick f.

No ma'am it doesn't. There is zero statistical evidence that this is true.

Probably a SC liberal law clerk for sure. To stir up trouble and get judges threatened.

Informed speculation on Twitter was a sotomayor clerk

I suggest no one has any idea who it was.

More specifically, it's the end to safe and legal abortion for lower income women in red states. Upper income women will always be able to access safe and legal abortion.

On another note, the comments in this thread blaming Catholics are a bit misplaced. Catholics are slightly more likely to support abortion rights than oppose them...although there is a racial divide (white vs hispanic). Going back to the 70s, the anti-abortion lobby was increasingly seized by white evangelical christians as yet another culture war issue.

I don’t think that people are blaming Catholics in general. People are blaming the Catholic Supreme Court Justices who were appointed to the Supreme Court specifically to overturn Roe v. Wade.

You won’t even look at this, you sick coward, but I am right and you are wrong, which means that forced birthers are in ecstasy over the idea of women dying. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/abortion-more-common-where-its-illegal-where-are-rates-highest/

No. Abortion is not a high priority issue for most people.

Nah. This was so dumb. What’s the point? Honestly, took the wind out of the sails of the real headline we would have gotten in June. Seriously, this was a dumb leak.

It was to give people time to prepare. Healthcare providers, advocates. It had to be done.

False. People who know a GD thing about this already KNEW it was coming. WE could have at least used a very big deal headline once the opinion is actually in effect. This was a super super dumb leak.

This naive clerk is about to learn how much people actually DGAF abt this…wake up call.

Sad but true

You are not going to be able to force people to give birth. You are really misjudging the extreme motivation to not continue with a very unwanted pregnancy.

You're in the minority full stop.

The vast majority of Americans do not believe the government should be making health care decisions for you.

Like I said, I know I'm in the minority on DCUM. And abortion is not a "health care decision," in the vast majority of cases.
