We have a legitimate issue in the world and US of mostly Russian infused lies and disinformation polluting our body politic. How do you suggest we deal with it?
Sorry, at this point there's been many more narratives being pushed by the current party in charge that ended up actually being wrong/disinformation. They have blatantly lied so many times that I have no reason to believe anything they say- that includes claims of supposed "Russian disinformation". I suggest rather than just issuing one sided selected talking points, you deal with it by allowing free discussion so the truth can be properly discussed, debated and parsed out. I suspect they won't do that because it would totally expose them immediately as being total morons and frauds (even though the truth still comes out eventually). Thus, all the hand wringing over Twtr.

I'm not at all surprised that LWNJs would seek to tell others what is and is not "misinformation." They might as well simply say anything that doesn't suit our narrative is misinformation. That's what it boils down to. That you support it tells us all we need to know.
Was the 2020 election free and fair, and who won it

We already have a system. If someone writes or says something false and it's damaging they can be sued in court for libel or slander.
How do you sue a meme? How do you sue an anonymous lie amplified a billion times?
There is no such thing as an anonymous lie. It clearly came from somewhere. Do some discovery.

There are a lot of lazy people—mostly men—who seem to think women’s purpose on the internet is not to inform others about their expertise, analyze the news, or amplify their work, but to answer inane questions about basic concepts about which they could easily educate themselves.

The announcement of this board was made right after Musk’s takeover of Twitter. This is a huge CYA move and very transparent. They know what Twitter is burying.
