That's why I quit using duvets altogether and now use quilts. Easy peasy.

then you're using too much. Use less and just put it on the back of one hand, rub the backs of your hands together a bit before using the palms to finish the job. I could have written this. I have serious old lady hands and hate putting on hand lotion.
Another with dry old lady hands! Mine will crack and bleed, so eventually I have to do aquaphor and socks at night. I keep lotion in my car, but then my hands are all slimy on the wheel.
