Um, neighborhood work better for you? Those of us who live Brightwood adjacent are experiencing it in a different way than those around Van Ness, and the point the was trying to be made was about inequity in reporting.

Look, I agree with you completely and believe this shooting in the Van Ness area was a rare event + embassies = major news story. I live Brightwood adjacent, we have too much gun violence in our area/neighborhood . So when some other anon PP comes in and starts throwing bombs about how this happens all over the city without as much reaction or response, I am offering that I live nearby and I understand why a 3 person shooting at Kennedy & 7th is different than Ct. & Upton St.
