I put too many crackers in my soup, and too much grated parm on my pasta. Like far too much.

public libraries are a national treasure and the antithesis of trashy!

That doesn't seem trashy. Eating a large restaurant meal in one sitting seems like it would be trashier. Eating a reasonable portion and saving the rest for later seems the opposite of trashy.

I love, love, love instant ramen. The kind that comes in solid blocks with a seasoning packet and cooks in 3 minutes. My indulge lunch when I'm WFH and the kids are at school (which only happens about once every three months, so at least it's not a daily habit!).

My 12yo has never been in a McDonalds (maybe once in an airport when he was a kid, but he doesn't remember it), but I pick up an egg McMuffin on my way to work about once a month. Yes, I'm a total hypocrite.

My favorite of our family cars is the junky, rusty old pickup. My daily driver is a 2016 Audi, because I don't really trust the 25 year old pickup on 66, but I feel much more at home in the latter.

Growing up, I could only envy people who got to go to Cracker Barrel on roadtrips. My mom packed sandwiches and fruit into a cooler and we ate them in the backseat of a no a/c car.


I went there ONCE for a work lunch, and my ass revolted an hour later. Never again.

Buy some clothes at Old Navy
Have never left North America
Eat on the couch (don't own a table)

About a month ago I had a really bad day and got into bed with a bowl of blueberries and a bag of Boom Chicka popcorn. It was heavenly (except for worrying I'd spill/stain).

That's not trashy, it's better for the environment, so it's looked upon favorably.
