48 and married, and I still wax it all off, though I now get waxed a little less frequently because I'm lazy (lol) and the growth is very slow. So even if I haven't gone in months, it doesn't look terrible. But it FEELS terrible to me. I find it itchier, especially if it's really grown in, and it even disrupts my sleep.

Mine keeps it trim but doesn’t wax or shave it off (same thing I do).

Ungroomed is a reflection of poor personal hygiene and sloth

I’m late 30s and I’ve done various levels of grooming over the years. DH prefers some hair, so I mostly just shave the bikini line and keep the rest neatly trimmed.

In my single days my experience was that men who insisted on complete hairlessness were bad in bed (probably because they watched too much porn and were therefore out of touch with what real women look like, and enjoy).

At 40 you had to stop and ask? Isn’t this something you would have already discussed or at least had some firm idea of how he felt?

Not with the many women I've dated in the last 5 years. I'm thankful for that.

And what do you do to keep yourself in check? When I watch p*rn, then men are also waxed. Seems preferable that way.

...You know this dude has face stubble that feels like sandpaper and a jaw that wears out...

Haha well you hope for the jaw to wear out if there's face stubble

DH does very frequently.

Yep, mine loves doing it, as long as I'm clean.

My DH doesn’t mind if am clean but goes crazy if I have just worked out.

Same with my DH. I think he’s crazy but he’s happy. 🤣

This is actually really common after divorce for women. So my esthetician tells me...

They are back to dating and think this is what is expected of them

I shave the sides. That’s it. I’ve never had a guy dump me for it. And if a guy doesn’t want to date a woman unless she meets his specific criteria for public maintenance, then I’d rather not date him.

It also serves a purpose to protect against friction during sex and preventing tiny cuts that could lead to infection. Looking like a child is odd.
I also wish men would leave some hair on their chest. All these young men without any hair on their chest seems too much.
