If you really believed these protections aren't helpful, just sit there secure in your knowledge. Other people wearing masks isn't harming you. Enjoy your freedoms.
Instead it sounds like they are not really sure these protections aren't helpful and they want everyone to be in the same boat they are in, because of a decision they made for themselves. Stoop being so thirsty.
Bingo
After two years of people screaming about others not wearing masks, which turned out to be barely useful, it's a bit hard to start claiming the higher moral road![]()

I must say when I popped into Whole Foods this morning and saw a mother with two young children, all firmly masked up, my first thought was that it's starting to look like child cruelty, especially with more and more studies coming out showing how the masks negatively impact young children's development.
As the mother of a young child let me assure you my masked 4 year old is completely fine.
This. The masks are an issue if the kids are of a certain age and if they’re wearing it the entire school day.
Masked grocery store outing is a nothing burger. Do some folks actually read what you post before you post it? Sheesh
If there is any advantage to wearing masks to stop COVID it is wearing it all day at school in a closed classroom. Wearing it to the supermarket has minimal value, if any. That's why it's seen as theatrical and, nowadays, silly.
COVID is going to be around forever so masking is little more than theatre unless you want to wear masks for the rest of your life.
The collective trauma of COVID has certainly affected people and it will be very difficult for many of them to give up the masks. I remember hearing a psychiatrist say it's much easier to get people to start wearing masks but much more difficult to get them to stop wearing them because the masks would start providing a false sense of security.

I will wear a mask wherever I please and it’s none of your business why but for the record I have horrible allergies and chemical sensitivities. Wearing a mask has cut down on a lot of weird reactions I used to get in public, especially to cleaning chemicals in stores. So mind your own business.
Because masking is the same as the other covid theatre that has reduced our QOL for two years but didn’t keep covid from spreading. It’s the same nonsense that closed schools, our our kids behind screens for years, injected our kids with an EUA vaccine that doesn’t stop transmission etc. By wearing a mask, you’re basically advertising to the world that you support these measures and you are to blame for what we all had to go through.
Oh FFS. I don’t like to get snarky on here but what you said sounds deranged!! I mean what the ever living…
And I’m talking specifically about bling people who wear masks for what you went through over the past few years. That’s just alarming.
