You cannot pick the speech that you like and protect it and then do something different when you do not like it. Non-violent protest is part of the American tradition. MLK was arrested numerous times. Occupy WallStreet? If they want to come and be arrested then I welcome that. It wont last long. They may just drive around the beltway at the minimum speed and not even do anything illegal.

DP. I saw that too. Youngkin is trying to establish bona fides as a trumper. He’ll let truckers shut down the beltway for days. And stick it to ordinary feds (not a class of people he likes) trying to gnome from work. Added bonus: showing ROVA he’s their Governor and screwing over NOVA.

It ends up blocking people getting to the CIA and pentagon, and other critical government agencies. But I doubt he cares at all. If he gets tough with Trumpers, his political career is over. In its second month.

Of course a blocked beltway on VA quickly becomes a traffic disaster in MD.
