There was a study that showed that something like 50% of people with stroke of unknown origin have a PFO (so if 25% of people have a PFO, that seems like it maybe doubles your risk for a stroke?).
There's a lot of weird cardiac congenital issues that people are walking around with and have no idea that they have.
