I see a lot of denunciations of Hamas terrorism on Sabio’s Twitter account recently. That strikes me as anything but crazy. Frisch has pictures of his dog and a near-constant stream of posts about LBGTQ issues on his account.
Here’s an interview with Sabio: https://patch.com/virginia/fairfaxcity/tony-sabio-running-providence-district-school-board-race-profile
He’s further to the right than I’d like on some issues, but he hasn’t squandered over $60M in taxpayer funds like Frisch on a completely unnecessary school that no one asked for, so he’d be an improvement.
I’m sorry, you are criticizing Karl Frisch for posting his dog?
Have you seen Sabio’s YARD SIGNS with his dog??? That’s absolutely crazy.
Sabio came off as completely uninformed about the issues in the Patch article. If you read his Twitter, he is constantly spelling words wrong, being rude to people in replies, and giving vague platitudes that don’t actually address real issues. Say what you want about Karl Frisch, but at least Frisch knows what he’s talking about and can have a real conversation with you about special ed etc.
Sabio hasn't advocated for squandering over $60M in taxpayer funds like Frisch on a completely unnecessary school that no one asked for, so he’d be an improvement over Frisch.
Between wasting so much of our money on Dunn Loring and then trying to bolt from the School Board the first time there was a chance to run for a higher office (props to Vienna for choosing Holly Siebold instead even though Frisch had so much more campaign money), Frisch has made it clear that he doesn't deserve another term on the board.
OK but what is appealing about Sabio at all? Give me a good reason to vote for him that doesn’t involve Karl Frisch.
He cared enough about kids that he traveled into war-torn Ukraine to bring one back safely to the United States.
We're probably lucky if Karl bothers to pick up his dog's poop on a good day.

Also the claimed numbers for several Tysons area ES projected at sub-70% capacity, where are those from? Have you looked at the CIP (https://www.fcps.edu/sites/default/files/media/pdf/Adopted-CIP-2024-28.pdf)? Most are projected in the 80s and 90s... only Freedom Hill notably lower at 71%. You also left out over-capacity Pine Spring... which could see relief (Merrifield area west of 495 makes sense at Stenwood, easy access via Gallows, and Stenwood will have the capacity available by ceding area to Dunn-Loring.
Nice try, Karl.
Freedom Hill and Vienna are both near the Dunn Loring site and projected to be under 80% capacity. And since when do we build new schools when the nearby schools are all under-enrolled? The only “problem” being solved by Frisch’s Folly is making sure another school doesn’t get built elsewhere.
Pine Spring is projected to be at, not above, capacity in a few years and, if there were a need to address overcrowding there, it could easily be done by moving kids to other ES in the same (Falls Church) pyramid, and not by creating a new split feeder to Marshall and Falls Church.
If Frisch wins again, it won’t be on the merits. It will be because people are uninformed or are overwhelmed by the number of yard signs someone with a big budget can stick in medians all over Providence. He’s still an idiot.
Nope it will be because we don't want Sabio on the Board and I don't blame them. He wants armed guards in every school, he compares schools to war zones. No thank you.
As opposed to some of the Democrats who want to eliminate all SROs?
Safety is a valid concern for parents at schools attended by Providence students, including Marshall and McLean, both of which have kids leaving the main building throughout the day to attend classes in trailers and modulars.

It's not a war zone, I don't want some commando coming in telling school admin to arm everyone and treat it like a war zone. This guy is crazy, but keep trying repub operatives!!
Seriously, guys, it's so obvious who you are and why you're posting here. You can try to recreate the drama that you created on DCUM around the last election, but I don't think it's going to work this time around.
