FCV is .08 percent of saint james business. Let’s be real and stop acting like they are business partners.

Exactly, and as far as Pro to Youth team connections they will amount to little more than meet and greet photo ops.

What pro team does your club own? Oh, didn’t think so.

By that logic FCV also owns two hockey rinks and a Olympic sized swimming pool too. When was the last time you just walked in and used either for free because your kid is on FCV.

And by the way, it is no longer FCV, it is TSJFCV. Never forget that at anytime the gym could decide that they are no longer interested in youth soccer. Your soccer club is little more than a line item on the budget and will only remain there as long as it returns a reasonable profit.

Owning a pro womens soccer team that doesn’t make money will need to subsidized by someone. Enjoy paying for your mandatory “discounted” season tickets next year.

LoL. Hey dummy, it’s two Olympic sized pools, not one.

You think they drop $16M on a professional soccer team and turn around and dump their youth soccer program? Lol.

In less than 3 years, being a player on a TSJFCV team will be the most coveted in Northern Virginia.

Wait for it…

What will make it so coveted?

You mean they have a plan to get into ECNL? I’m waiting for it.

You’ll be waiting for a very long time

It doesn't matter in the end. TSJ is a miserably run organization. If there is a way to screw it up they will and then hide behind their money. Try getting your kid training there- IF they return your call and IF there are even enough kids to register, the training will suck

Strike a deal with Loudoun commerce and bring them to the new stadium. Easy. TSJ will be their practice facility.

Easy

This. Practice at TSJ in winter. Games through deal with DC United for use of both Loudoun USL stadium and Audi sometimes. Then, TSJ needs outdoor field space someday. Lots of brownfields property availability right there in the industrial neighborhood where TSJ sits. I expect demolition and construction of outdoor fields within the next 3-4 years. Once they’ve gotten enough affluent youth sport parents in enough sport to support the build - they’re certainly on their way with both soccer and lax club ownership.

Expanding in the industrial center is interesting idea. Baseball fields are needed. TSJ has batting cages but badly needs bball fields if they want to expand in that sport. The industrial area has two Amazon facilities and Fairfax Soccer PLex is among these buildings...lthat may be in the investor's sights going with this theory.

Let’s get this straight so there is no confusion going forward.

FCV doesn’t own a dang thing.

This is why you all are so easily manipulated by advertising

Who is easily manipulated? FCV is owned by TSJ.

It’s TSJFCV to you now. Btw? How many professional soccer teams does your podunk program own?

LoL, TSJ just getting warmed up, btw. Wait for it…

Let’s try this again. Your club doesn’t own a professional team. An investment group does. Your club has no more claim to Spirit than anyone else. Your club is nothing but a customer block. Revenue. Stop paying and find out how important your kid is….

Delusional.

You mean the TSJ corporation owns the former FCV club and is in negotiations to own the Spirit pro team. How they decide to structure their soccer offerings going forward will be a business decision.

Lol. Let it go, darling. It isnt FCV. It’s TSJFCV. Get used to it.

The Springfield space is too valuable to have the spirit practice there unless they are selling the opportunity to train with the spirit.

You act like the field space would be free to the Spirit. That’s not the case. Spirit would rent it, just as they do their current practice fields. I’d be willing to wager their current field space rents at an higher rate than the rates for Springfield.

There is no way they are paying more than the St James rent and the don't make the revenue to support renting it.

Right. Youth teams can afford to rent Springfield space, but it is too expensive for a pro team to rent.

TSJ owns FCV so they are not renting space?

If TSJ allows FCV to use the field rent free they lose money and the opportunity to rent the space to other clubs.

They have money to burn
