Is it a single dude? A young person? The whole thing is pretty bizarre. We normally kill ourselves, creating a giant feast.

None of this makes any sense. Are you sure someone didn't misunderstand that the hosts are providing the meat options, plus naan/rice, and the guests bring veggies? When is the event? Have you decided whether you're going, and what you're bringing?
