Ick! In the friendship post, the way she says "I WANT YOU TO KNOW" that conflict doesn’t mean your relationship has gone off the rails or that it is unfixable.

Actually, I do have friends like Friends and HIMYM and the like, but what we don't do? Cuddle together in matching pajamas on each other's beds. I don't resent Jen having close friends. But I do feel like maybe her closest friendships are a little bit immature. You crash on each other's beds in high school and college. Then you grow up- hopefully have a healthy marriage where your bedroom is for you and your spouse- and your friendship evolves accordingly. You're still close. You still have a history. But you don't pack six people into one cabin on a cruise ship anymore, because you've grown up and likely now have grownup money and adult boundaries. I think if we knew the full truth behind this picture that Jen posted, it's actually a lot closer to "Tyler bailed on me again- please come over and turn this into a girl's slumber party night" or "We're sorry for constantly complaining about your teeth, Megan. We promise to grow up and love you for you." Or something similar. I just don't see maturity when I look at this pic. Or normal boundaries for 50yr-old women.

Yes this is the problem. Jen is so lacking in morals. Lie in bed with dogs and get fleas. Are these the friends anyone would really want? The type who worship and follow around a woman with such few scruples?

I get people are lonely. That’s why the twin flames predators could convince people to change their actual gender! Almost no one in real life has friends like Friends, HIMYM, New Girl, Happy Endings etc because it’s not realistic!

Social media is a LIE! TV and movies are FAKE. It’s okay to be lonely but please don’t attack your own self worth because of it.

For me, the issue is not that she’s bragging about having close friendships. Honestly, I don’t believe a word she says anymore.

It’s that her post was 1) engagement farming (“Comment for the blog!” when the blog is on her website); and 2) shilling her Me course (the blog post directs you to buy it).

She’s basically saying “I have these great friendships AND YOU CAN TOO, if you pay me $60 for a worksheet!”.

It’s gross. She’s gross.

Remember Jen used to post about her ex in an over the top fawning way. Look at us! Aren’t we the cutest?! And a lot of lonely women with single and marriage less felt less than and bad. But now we all know that it was all fake and her marriage was a disaster. So remember this when you see Jen flexing her magical friendships. All that glitters in not gold.
