It's embarrassing, honestly.

The pressure to come up with new, life changing revelations to bless the masses must be exhausting. I cannot imagine living a life where every life experience could not just stand for itself, but had to be experienced and expressed in a way to impart profound wisdom to others.

I have completed menopause fairly recently. It was mostly a non-event. I had some symptoms, I discussed with a few other women, and when necessary a gynecologist. My eldest got married - only family cares, and to be honest, not even all of them. Struggled with some aspects of religion - came to my own peace, but did not feel the need to explain myself to get everyone to learn from me. She has supposedly left the Evangelical Church, yet she will not stop Evangelizing........every possible life experience.

As much as she talks about her "ride or dies," I've never heard of the friends on this text thread. And what is it with her constantly posting screen shots of text conversations - with her kids, with Tyler, with her friends. It's so weird.

Also, she is really riding this "mid life glow-up, menopause, making room for what's next, your next chapter in your beautiful life, mid life is messy" train. Even if I was a fan, it just sounds so boring.

And there is another post about "I hated my body for years; I mistreated her and didn't treat her with love and care, but she is my compass!!!!" We know. You have written so many words on this topic. Why should anyone listen to her as an "expert" when she has been dealing with this same topic for literally decades, and she obviously STILL hasn't made peace with her own body.

2) does her friend Tiffany know she published her full name on the text thread talking about personal matters?

3) does anyone talk about knee wrinkles with their friends?

4) if you are a published author, you are automatically demoted if you misspell another author's name (Nora Ephron)

I don't think Jen is going to be a bad grandmother but I think the parents will set boundaries on the content

It will be VERY interesting to see how Gavin, whose childhood was chronicled in detail online and in his mom's books, will react to having his firstborn being subject to all that scrutiny. It seems a lot of Gen Zs are reluctant to put their kids on blast, and good on them.

Oprah is leagues ahead of these blogger ladies. She is hard working and professional and a true journalist.

Outside of a narrowly focused demographic, no one knows who these women are aside from their individual fan bases, and a lot of those numbers are inflated or purchased/bot followers. They're trying to do what they can do to stay relevant, and few people care about their opinions. They all came up during the infancy of online influencers and most people see it for the performance that it is.

I wonder how many of these women regret their time in the blogosphere? So many marriages ended. Kids' precious childhoods on full display for an uncharitable audience. Jamie lost the most when she lost Jameson.

Why does she think anyone wants to know that she is going to dinner with her girlfriends to discuss vaginas?

1. I don't think Jen is going to be a bad grandmother but I think the parents will set boundaries on the content.

2. Jen will find out soon enough that her audience probably isn't receptive to being shilled for binkies, although it wouldn't surprise me if she tries.

3. Oprah, as much as I dislike her, is in a different league than the list of Christian mommy bloggers being thrown around.

I see your point. Maybe it's that once one of them appears on your radar screen they all start to appear and take up so much space.

Everyone on the planet knew who Oprah was. I followed Jen for years before knowing who Rachel Hollis or Glennon Doyle were. They did not cross into the general public consciousness. Even Abby is a maybe barely type of famous from the general public perspective.

Sarah's conference nosedived and I wonder if it will come back this year. Her writing remains kind of pointless

Sarah oscillates between look at this pretty tree and OH MY THE WORLD IS ENDING THANKS TO THE BAD UNITED STATES CITIZENS MINUS MY HUSBAND.

I tried so, so hard to like her writing but I just can't. She takes forever to make any kind of salient point. It wastes the reader's time.

I am hoping that Tara will write a book soon. She hinted at a contract and I would probably buy it. I find her the least annoying and most resilient and funny of the internet crew.

Glennon is a very mentally unwell woman. I think her audience is unhappy and unwell also. She can write the occasional great sentence, but she needs help.

Jen and Tyler looked super out of sync dancing at the wedding! Gah. It's like Tyler had to think about what to do next.

Oh how the mommy bloggers have fallen. I think the only thing that helped keep Glennon aloft was hitching her wagon to Abby, the most long-suffering Olympian ever.

Jamie finally found a good guy and maybe some peace. She was supposed to write another book but that seems to have never gotten off the ground.

Kristen no longer has the podcast or really a blog. I think she makes her money being a therapist. I feel bad for her because Mark and Anna together are kind of insufferable.

Gavin and Dani live in New Braunfels, I think that is about 30 minutes away from here. I know Brando and Texas Barbie also live in New Braunfels according to all of the post they make. Wonder how Texas Barbie feels about being a grandma. I bet that is a hard pill to swallow for someone who looks 25.
