Is there a controlled/minimized testing in FL? I can't believe they don't have a lot of cases at the moment when Disney and Universal are there and people go there from all places. Either that or they are suppressing bad PR.

The individual is a resident of Arlington County in their 60s who developed fever, cough and shortness of breath after having returned from international travel. The resident is receiving medical care and is currently recuperating. The positive result returned Sunday evening is considered presumptive, pending confirmation by the CDC.

The individual had limited contact with others while ill and the risk to the general Arlington community remains low.

“We are working closely with our health care partners and the state to monitor the patient and identify and work with their close contacts,” said Arlington County Health Director Reuben K. Varghese, MD, MPH. “Confirming a case of COVID-19 in an Arlington resident does not come as a surprise given international travel from an affected area. We understand the risk of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) increases among close contacts of infected persons.”

She probably connected in California for her flight to Australia. May have picked it up there too, or on the plane.

So the virus is highly contagious.
But if there are cases in the community..
Don’t worry. It is not going to spread.
It only spreads in Korea, Iran in Italy.
Check what country you are in.

Canada has 2 cases that came from the US. One from Colorado, one from DC. They also have one case from France and one case from Germany.


He left DC on March 3rd, She left Aspen on March 2.

Canada has 3 more Germany cases today.


One of those cases in Canada was from a person on a flight from DC to Toronto. It was confirmed this morning.

She could have still been the carrier on her inbound flight to Aspen.

The masks are never sterile. If they are inthe box and dont look like theyve been used they might take them.
