"Just stop" woman (I am guessing) is here a lot lately. She wasn't really here at all before a week ago.

What brings you to the VRSC thread "Just stop" woman? Why all the sudden interest in telling people to, "just stop?"

are you saying BP was solely responsible for those seniors and juniors nods? Considering some of them had placement before switching clubs and parents put in hard work with the previous/current vda staff please clarify. With or without BP girls want to be at VDA. Him being there is the cherry on top for sure.

Unless you want to play HS

Why did the above get so keyed into MT comments. It was a small part of the entire story. VDA parents and other former fcv coaches love to hate bp. Some of it is deservered, other not. Bp does a good job with college coaches, that’s it. He is successful despite not playing the game. Pp used this as a crutch about how he knows nothing. It’s just wrong.

I love how someone likes to say a particular hs coach deserves credit for any players success. lol. The high school coaches throughout Loudoun county are really bad coaches. They win if they have a packed roster of club players. Otherwise, they are not involved or have no impact in college recruiting. MT didn’t get exposure because jc won states. No way.
BP spotted. Just stop. Also let those new girls play high school ball since the coaches are so horrible and have no impact on their future trajectories. Share the light unless you are scared. Also states did help MTs exposure. Any winning at a high level does. Again. You might want to change that topic before some serious exposure happens on here. Just my 2c. It takes a village and some really hard work to get to MTs level. She is a shining light for the girls coming behind her.

No, the guy isn't perfect and lacks a lot of skills, but at this level he has exactly what the college coaches want in recruiting talent and forcing results at a higher level of play. His wife Manya who played professionally and is a good person is the opposite. She didn't recruit well and did not get the results so you can see the contrast. Playing doesn't necessarily mean you have the skills to coach. The guy deserves a lot of credit for what he does even if he isn't the foundation for the success. At fcv cc laid the foundation and at vda quan did. Bp moves it to the next level. It's what he does. It will have its limits, but his effectiveness is undeniable.
no no… dont do that. Please post this in TSJ chat and see the fireworks. VDA was already on the next level. Also please keep MTs name out of this. That situation was far more complex and I doubt her family is trolling these boards and interested in posting rebuttals. Just because girls are in college doesn’t mean history buffs dont exist. Coach RA created and lost a lot of players to that team before they regrouped at TSJ and ran over everyone. Not all of those parents saw eye to eye with bp in regards to recruiting/placement and he absolutely didn’t see eye to eye w the HS coaches he had ti share recruiting glory with. And still doesn’t as some girls aren’t allowed to play HS. As far as the Mrs not getting results… well she did get some players over to VDA from Rev. Not sure about those results either but let the older regime tell it they are not happy with carpools.

Holding MT accountable is laughable. You clearly weren’t close to the pulse at tsj or champe. She is an extraordinary player who worked hard and got results and would have gotten results regardless who her coach was.

Bp is On the clock. And will definitely get results w the existing older teams. If he doesn’t ill be shocked as that would be a massive fumble.

Also Quan put in a lot of work at VDA. Lets give him his roses.

Carry on

When we first went to a Rev info session a couple years ago we got a full sales pitch and vision for the club. The IMG model was exactly what they mentioned as the vision. As far fetched as it sounded at the time, since then they have actually made some gains in that direction. The academic school, renovations of the facility, joined GA and MLSN, took over Loudoun United and Segra, added USL-W women’s team. Bringing in young international players to attend high school and then place them into US colleges and their pro teams might be a way to infuse the club with talent on the top teams. It works for IMG.

Perhaps. They have also told people this will be the #1 club on the Eastern Seaboard by the time of the World Cup. Has this happened? Is it close? Absolutely not, in any way.

What are they selling? Think about it? Come here. We are bringing foreign kids in who can't make it in their own country's academy system. BUT, we have no problem bringing them here (likely on your dollar) to take your daughter's place at the first opportunity. Why? To make money and to make the organization look better. So, local kids, and their families, who actually want to be here GFY.

I can't tell you how happy I am we have one foot out the door. Trust them all you want, ye suckers!!!!!

My daughter didn't even end up playing for Revolution. I'm just telling you what they told us. Not making a judgement on if it's good or bad or if it will be successful or how long it will take. But it sure did touch a nerve with you so they must be on to something.

No nerve touched. I'm just telling you how it is from my perspective.

It's interesting how often I see "touched a nerve" on this website but rarely, if ever, hear it "in the wild" in everyday life. It's almost as if the same person goes from thead to thread commenting on things to get people to reply. I

It's similar to how "axe to grind" is used in the VRSC thread if anyone says ANYTHING negative about the club. It certainly does make me wonder.

They had no issue recruiting before.... just saying...

BP joined a top 20 club with great recruits and has kept things moving forward and recruited well. Doing a solid job.
your ego is huge. Again club was doing fine before and no one is saying you are doing a bad job. Just saying VDA had motion before as a top 20 club. They had no issues with recruitment. And it can only get better as long the younger teams get better. Nervous about the age changes but we will see after these id sessions.
