Go replay it or read the transcript, he was very clear and articulate.
All I got was he is married to A nice looking woman and child care is a young woman issue
And how many times did he mention his beautiful family and his three beautiful children? I almost threw something at the screen. Especially how he slid over the issue of gun control and kids being in danger at school. His three beautiful children I'm sure have no such worries in their wealthy bubble.
Why would anyone who has children in private schools worry about it? I am a first generation immigrant and both my children are in elite private school in suburban DC. Vance wants every parents have a choice to put their children to the school of their choice.

Of course he didn't. He also didn't respond when asked if Trump lost the election in 2020 or on whether he'd separate migrant kids from their parents. He's a lawyer--skilled at avoiding the questions where his answers aren't popular and switching topics to where he'd rather be talking about.

Yep.

-the military service records of either candidate?
-the two assassination attempts on Trump’s life?
Why were those topics not covered?

He is also much younger than ol’ man Walz. I just wonder if Vance might hold back due to respect for someone so much older than himself?
Vance was just like Obama: smooth, polished and very well put together in his appearance and in his thoughts. Out of four of them, he is the most presidential unfortunately.

“Iran, or I, uh, Israel’s ability to be able to defend itself is fundamental,” he said initially. Moments later he said “the expansion of Israel and its proxies” is a fundamental necessity for the United States to steady leadership there.
Other times, Walz seemed nervous and unsure of himself. He spoke so rapidly at times that he stumbled over his words.

USA Today is correct; Walz looked and sounded extremely nervous and made verbal stumbles throughout the night.
Vance was calm, cool, and collected. He never responded in anger or frustration, or took the bait and made the debate contentious. He gave a master class in political debate.
Every politician has rich friends, takes money from their rich friends.
Case in point:
Walz looked like the weirdo…apparently the whole “Vance is weird” thing was a deflection and projection on the part of democrats, who
have an old looking man who lies about everything running as their VP.
Anyone fact check Walz’s claim that his son witnessed a shooting? Any evidence that actually happened?
Yep
One side is Soros, other side is Thiel. Same same
Vance looks like he could deal with world leaders
Voting for Vance cos anything could happen to Trump in 4 years

This is the thing about maga, and it’s so disgusting: it’s only about themselves. What about the country? What about women?
Actually, the PP is copying this exact statement from a few pages ago but switched out Harris/Walz for Trump/Vance. Guess there are plenty of “disgusting” selfish Democrats too!
The truth is, everyone is voting for who they see as best to serve them and their wants/needs.

It was funny how easy it is to debate when truth and statistics and information that you say really does not matter. It was to prepare us for teams that were slick and fast talkers.
I think Tim maybe needed a little more prep, but let's be honest there was no way he was going to win when it does not matter what the other side says. Jd didn't even have to prep. He could just literally make up whatever he wanted in the moment based on what Tim said and know that it does not matter at all to his voters
Walz is too old and too politically experienced to act like a nervous wreck during a single debate.
He was a senior enlisted leader in the US military and a football coach, but was in shambles last night. Something isn’t right about that.
Any man that doesn’t act like a toxic frat bro and bully people is “in shambles” for MAGA.
Vance didn’t act like a toxic frat bro.
Walz called himself a knucklehead. What a joke. Why would anyone vote for a self described knucklehead?
People with humility. Very typical for a Minnesotan.
Being humble is great, admitting you are an idiot is not great.
Nobody running for VP should have to explain their lies and misstatements as occurring because they are a knucklehead. That’s ridiculous.
Walz admitted he’s not fit for office. It’s embarrassing.
Cool. So when is Vance going to address all the lies he told last night.
Walz: not smooth and slimy. Substantive and truthful.
Vance: slippery smooth and lying all night long
There were zero substance in Walz's speeches yesterday. Delivery was very poorly executed too.
Anonymous wrote:Prediction: both sides will claim victory and both sides will have good moments. No one will really step in it unlike the Harris/Trump and Biden/Trump debates earlier this cycle. Vance will definitely say something super weird though.

"I'm a knucklehead at times... I misspoke on this," Walz admitted when addressing discrepancies in his reported travel history to Hong Kong in 1989, as reported by several news outlets.
Does he and his wife have a same medical condition? They both look a little bit crazy with bulging eyes. I am not saying it is a mental condition, could be just a thyroid issues.
Walz actually looked scared at times last night.
