It’s infuriating. While pleading guilty, she should not be allowed to say she’s taking responsibility for her actions and then also say “if I’d known then what I know now.” I’d like her to spell out what she knows know that she didn’t know then…because the whole reason she’s in trouble is because she spun misinformation and represented to courts that there was election fraud when she had no evidence of fraud. That’s not lack of due diligence; that’s just lying. Taking responsibility would be her admitting that there was no evidentiary basis for her election fraud claims. I hope the judge takes her disingenuous allocution into consideration when sentencing her. She doesn’t deserve a sweetheart plea deal.
