It’s o DCUM. What secret?
Why not in more Virginia papers and news sites?
It has been covered by plenty of papers and a VA paper covered it today. Link upthread.
Why so many repetitive junk posts on this thread?
One Virginia paper?
She and her family have been prominent supporters of democrat politicians in the Commonwealth.

Yes, 98% of federal cases result in a plea bargain. 1% go to trial and 1% are dismissed, but the prosecutor has to offer a plea agreement. Hoppe's demographics, a white privileged Disney Princess, will work against her similar to the January 6th prosecutions. Hoppe could plead guilty to the charges against her which would result in a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years in federal prison, so there is no option for the judge to give her a reduced sentence. Hoppe's new lawyer, assistant federal public defender, Ubong E. Akpan, has pristine demographics, a Nigerian female person of color, so maybe the government may offer to drop one of the the charges against Hoppe for a guilty plea to the remaining charges.

I think the trial date was set. She has also switched to being represented by public defender. (This is the right choice in DC. DC's public defenders are considered among the best.)

Hoppe has no defense. There is no victim to cross-examine. There are statements Hoppe made online to the under cover FBI agent. There are confessions made by Hoppe to the FBI agent after arrest. There are the items found in the trunk of her car. There are false exculpatory statements made by Hoppe to the FBI after arrest. There are contraband images transmitted by Hoppe to the under cover FBI agent.
One defense she may try to assert is entrapment.
