I agree it’s misused and aggressive as hell. But you have to admit, some posters are unhinged.

The people who want to get people banned because they call out an Op's B's. Along with this the always be kind posters nothing wrong with kindness but tone policing pet as if you're the teacher or parent is annoying.
"The most annoying DCUM poster is the many, many, many posters who hate me when I am a huge asshole in my posts."
Slow clap. This one is amazing.
The posters who think they are more clever than they are but really just end up embarrassing themselves.
Anonymous wrote:The posters who insist all teens drink and get drunk and that you have to let them drink at home or they will become binge drinkers in college.
The posters who insist it's impossible to have any sort of limitations with teenagers.

Yes- I think they have deep insecurity about getting a picture of themselves and family and they are jealous of the organized people who do these every year.
Most normal people just look at the picture, maybe display for a bit, then throw it out... and don't mention it to anyone. But this person cannot wait to brag about how much she hates these cards!
+1
MANY deep insecurities!
Can't be happy for other people - doesn't matter the topic - where someone vacations, lives, goes to college.....the list is endless.........
Meanwhile, they were raised in Bethedsda, afforded each and every luxury, and still can't get their head out of their arse.
I don't think it's insecurity. I think it could be deep seeded frustration and sadness. I am one of these people. I have ADHD and was diagnosed as an adult. I am jealous of people and their vacations/lives but I am jealous that they have the bandwith to organize and do these things. I struggle every single day with basic things. I have SO MUCH GUILT as a mom. I worry that my mental health issues will negatively impact my kids, every single day. Parents who preplan trips, cards, holidays, etc. are SO SO lucky. Sometimes its hard to hang up other peoples cards because its like looking at your own failures.
