I can't believe that this forum hasn't commented more about the fact that Trump was asleep or nodding off for about 20 minutes during the past Thursday presser with drug company executives. ("A Washington Post analysis of multiple video feeds found that Trump spent nearly 20 minutes apparently battling to keep his eyes open at the Thursday event."-WP).
On top of heart disease and cognitive decline, I think he may also have
obstructive sleep apnea. I recognize the symptoms because my dad had it. OSA increases the risk of heart failure, coronary artery disease, Afib, and pulmonary hypertension, among other things.
Daytime symptoms of sleep apnea include:
*Excessive daytime sleepiness
*Difficulty concentrating
*Irritability and mood changes
*Forgetfulness
*Fatigue after a full night's sleep
*Headaches
*Dry mouth
A medical professional interviewed for a story about Trump repeatedly falling asleep in court during his first term noted: “His age puts him at risk, the fact that he’s male, the size of his neck, his body mass index, he’s tired—all of those things are worth 1 point on a questionnaire called the STOP-Bang, and scores greater than 3 indicate a moderate to high risk for obstructive sleep apnea,” said Wells."
