That's what they're trying to do with Community Church in Ashburn, but no information has followed so either it's still in talks or it fell through.
Well, Revolution uses the CC/VA Academy facility for futsal and other things (not to mention a “connection” between them and the guy who bankrolls Revolution). So you can probably put 2 + 2 together and come up with a few ideas about what probably happened to talks between them and FCV.
I’m not affiliated with FCV FWIW, but that certainly might be the case. VRSC claims - or at least used to claim - that they were about committing to and building the soccer community in Loudoun, drawing a distinction between them and Loudoun Soccer, who is/was about controlling the soccer community and all of the resources that go with it. VRSC now does the same BS that Loudoun has done for years, focusing on quashing competitors and building their club with money, connections and politics rather than by providing better quality training and coaching.
So, you're saying soccer clubs are basically a business...?
Most businesses focus, first and foremost, on providing a quality product or service. VRSC started that way, but has morphed into Loudoun Soccer 2.0…just with worse soccer than the club they want to topple.
Wrong, but we still allow trolls to post on here. Nobody ever at VRSC said they wanted to "topple LS." I believe you have that info a** backward. LS talks so bad about VR it’s pathetic. They should work on theri own house before publicly disrespecting another one. It reeks of insecurity, lol!
Lol. VRSC top teams are on level with Loudoun White. MR isn’t worried, buddy.
Misinformation but keep posting nonsense!
Agreed! This is definitely misinformation! VRSC top teams are on par with Loudoun silver, not white!

The people I know that went to Revolution very early on were very much about breaking up the “monopoly” that is LS…and frankly that is/was 100% needed. VRSC literally had to spend millions just to have fields to play on after Morven became unavailable. It’s insane how little field access there is in Loudoun at parks, schools, etc. I don’t expect VRSC to help FCV out, but it’s sort of lame for them to be working to block them (if what a pp said is true), when you already took their coaches and have already secured a large number of their players for next year.
LS is part of the reason why FCV wasn't ever able to get ECNL access after the DA dissolved.
FCV leaving ECNL to start the DA and making a big scene about it is what caused ECNL to deny FCV a return. Hard to go back when you burn the bridge on your way out.
