I've also been a little bothered by the fact that the AD talks about how he should have checked better. But Alec never said he should have checked. He just retweeted articles slamming the AD.
The AD has remorse and wishes he did things differently. Alec doesn't say anything about having remorse that he didn't check. And by most accounts, actors are typically shown the inside of the chamber, so it would be reasonable to expect he might have asked, or regretted not asking.
I was involved in a situation where someone was seriously hurt at work. In my case, I predicted it, stated my prediction clearly up the management chain and to all involved, and tried to get them to change their minds about doing it. Even with all that, I still have regrets about how I could have been more persuasive in my approach to get people not to do what ultimately left someone brain dead. I think about everything like, what did I do in the preceeding year that made me less credible when I was trying to get them to reconsider this doomed event? I think most people, when faced with this kind of thing, tend to he self critical rather than point fingers. It is very strange to me that Alec has not said a single thing about his own role in this tragedy.

She dressed her kids and took her sympathy photo shoot while another family is missing a mother’s hugs. She’s really deplorable. How must Halyna’s husband feel about these narcissists?
It’s really horrible to post those Halloween pics. They have no shame at all. It’s embarrassing.
Yes life goes on, and the kids need to have a great Halloween, but there is no need to post much with everything going on.
Agreed. Like of course they can get dressed up, but you don’t need to post it, ffs.
Anonymous wrote:Before the tragedy, Hilaria was posting on Instragram many, many times a day. Almost always pictures of herself "breastfeeding," posing in their apartment hallway, weird photoshopped closeups of her boobs, etc. Just a constant stream of histrionic "look at me! I am extremely desirable!" I don't think that it is an exaggeration to say that that was her life.
Now... she can't do that. I am sure that she is milking their "dramatic" situation behind the scenes by texting with "important" people and making herself the central character in what has occured. But I think that it is not a sufficient substitute for what she is missing. I expect her to ramp up the posting. I wonder, now that Alex is in a much larger spotlight, for a terrible reason, whether her mentally ill posts will lead to a breaking point for them.

He looks horrible and stressed. He clearly gets that he killed someone. I also think they are crazy in love. She is very protective of him and he with her. This is all so sad. I imagine he is a mess.
I didn't get crazy in love from that interview. He spoke to her like a very annoyed parent speaks to their kid. They seemed to have different goals in that interview too- they were not a couple who was in step together. She wanted to yell at them and he wanted to engage with them.
NP. I watched the video with my husband. He thought AB was snapping at a paparazzo. It didn't sound like how you talk to a spouse. And he kept talking to her like that. It must be a very tense household, even before the shooting death. And HB comes across as shrill and angry. Being married to her makes him look less sympathetic.
I feel really bad for those six kids. I am not concern trolling. I think they are likely taking the brunt of their parents' stress.
Why did he talk to the press in an impromptu conference on the side of the road? It makes him seem more out of control, and everything he says can be used against him (I can't believe he started talking about the slim chance of on set accidents - that means he has some idea of the risk and maybe minimized them, it opens him to more questions, etc.). His lawyers must be flipping out.

“I brought [Alec] up here because we have to mourn Halyna’s death,” she said. “Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD.”
“He needs space for me to take care of him and his mental health,” she said. “It’s an awful thing that happened. Alec feels awful.”

It sounded like the latter. If so, why was he aiming the gun at her? Was there some joking around that was going on?
No, he wasn't joking around with the gun.
He does have a history of narcissistic recklessness.
This has all been hashed out over the past week. He was working, doing his job.
Someone else wasn't.
Wasn't it his production company? He didn't just have a vanity producer credit. So he might be liable for criminal negligence. He had crewmembers walk off set the week before due to unsafe working conditions. He will end up in civil court and will be sued. So he was ultimately responsible and he wasn't doing his job.
Nope. It's a lot more complicated than you're saying and no, the actual producers or the hiring company do not have criminal liability.
So you’re saying that producers typically don’t bear any responsibility for crimes that occur on their productions? Especially due to negligence?
Civil, yes; criminal, usually not.

It wasn’t the pics but her comment that they tried to give the kids a normal holiday or something to that effect. I mean, that’s over the top. Are we supposed to feel sorry for her kids who have both parents?
