Bickering about school board candidates is pointless when the county board consists of people who believe school spending should be deprioritized. Were at a point where significant, significant money needs to be invested to have any hope of avoiding really serious issues by the time my elementary kids get to high school. It doesn’t matter who is on the school board if they can’t get the resources to deal with it.

+1 I want a candidate who understands the CIP and budgeting process, who understands where funding comes from and where it goes, who has an understanding of finance, HR, facilities, bonds, management, data systems, etc, in addition to teaching/learning. Maybe that's a tall order.
