I totally get that Matt was in a league of his own with SECRET and MANY children, but it annoys me that everyone in Amber's life asks Andrew about whether he has any kids as if it's okay that she does but him having any would be a deal breaker. So many double standards.


I don't know if it's a double standard. I see that type of question as, we know that at least one person is bringing a kid(s) into this relationship. Is it going to get more complicated than that, with more children being involved. And with Matt's situation of 9 secret kids, that would be the first thing I would ask as well.

New guy SEEMS nice enough, but he has two ex-girlfriends who put out restraining orders against him. One even included her dog in it. So... maybe not so nice.

Normally when I psychoanalyze people I'm not all "So, tell me about your mother," but with Mack I really wanted to know what her relationship with her father was like. Because damn that's a LOW bar you set for a father to say all you want out of him is to SHOW UP. What about being a positive example? What about being open-minded? What about being able to provide for your child? What about being able to give good advice? Damn. When I think of my dad, he didn't just show up. He sometimes spent three hours a night teaching me math when I couldn't understand my teacher. He taught me how to iron, to check the oil, to strip wallpaper and hang it, how to be a valuable employee, how to do my taxes, I could go on and on. JUST SHOW UP? That's just such an incredibly low bar.

Mack actually said all she could want was a father of her kid who was interested, implying like Ryan. In the awkward scripted convo from this week's episode he even said he won't be interested until "he" (hope it's a girl!) is 2 and he can play with him because he doesn't enjoy diapers. For all the shade she throws at the Teen Moms because she was a "real teen mom without cameras and money" he is EVERYTHING that is wrong with teen dads, even now that he should know better and have matured.

I am so over Mack. I would rather watch Jen and Larry. Amber seems to really rely on her brother. Maybe she should have valued his opinion and advice when she started dating creepy Matt. Next weeks episode looks good.

How tired is Andrew getting of talking about Matt - over and over, every person he meets it's all they want to talk about.

I also don't think Bentley is uncomfortable with Taylor - at all. It was so sweet that Taylor wanted to take him away for the weekend.

And Ryan and Mack - was that the weirdest most scripted kitchen conversation about college and babies?

Taylor is a great dad/step dad. Highly doubt he is scared. Bentley is just getting older and more mature


That doesn't make sense - why would a kid getting "more mature" not want his mom to go? I'm not saying Taylor isn't a great parent at all. I'm just saying it can feel awkward to be without your parents and with someone else for two weeks.
