Looks like more red states get healthcare subsidies so let them go up.

Trump is stupid. He thinks he is running a company.

So how does the GOP think this is actually going to work? They cause healthcare premiums to go up in 2026 and expect that nobody will notice? Even MAGAs, who are not particularly bright, will notice a dip in their paychecks. What's the spin going to be? It must become obvious at some point that they were lied to.

Very nice! So glad to see dems cleaning up the mess the republicans have made.

Why do furloughed workers need childcare? Can't they watch their own kids?

Clearly you’ve never had a kid in daycare.

Other Rs have brains and know that they want the subsidies to continue. They don't have the balls to say so. Yet.

She’s right to care about her constituents. The other Rs clearly don’t.

Do you think the childcare centers with waitlists and contracts and autopay are going to be like sure you can just pull your kid out and not pay during the shutdown? Not to mention a lot of tuition was already taken out of accounts on the first of the month.

Also the vast majority of Feds are excepted and still working. What do you suggest they do with their kids while not getting a paycheck?

MAGA logic is so stupid.

Sure they can. But you can’t just decide not to pay daycare for a couple weeks. It doesn’t work that way
