its a mix of current 8th grade and 9th grade boys.. there were a couple of local clubs having issues. So yes its not unexpected parents registered. Just dont expect them all to show up.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Looking forward to our Mother's Day tryout -- current coach of 2009B Gold is saying there are 40 kids from outside the club coming to tryout!
Maybe he meant 14 or 4. Or 40 for all of Valor?
There is no way *40* new players from 2009 are coming to tryouts.
Omg could you imagine? I think it maybe like 4. For obvious reasons Valor does not get much interest from outside the club. Maybe a new kid that moved into the area or a sibling but that is about it.
No way. Even if it was a good club and not Valor, 40 new high school aged players?
That is very possible. U15-17 has the most movement with teams loosing kids to other HS sports forcing the remaining players to move clubs to find other like minded players. NCSL teams trying to up a level.
We are taking a single age group--2009 boys. 40 new HS age players for a club that barely has 3 teams right now? Its laughable.

You dummies keep thinking Ryan is a soccer god. He's an average coach that got lucky with a strong age group, that is it. He is going to a 2nd tier league that is dying and bringing a team that is a slightly above avg group of girls.

how do they pick the team with no coach?
Some higher up like PE will decide if they have enough kids to make another team and if they do they will hire a coach.
