I kind of hope Biden does this, because it would be hilarious to see how many Democratic members of Congress would lose their jobs over it come November.
It would be exactly the type of shoot themselves in the foot action we've come to expect from the Biden administration.
I think people forget (or don't about) how much chaos was created by gas rationing in the seventies and it's "moral equivalence to war."
We obviously survived the gas rationing of the 70’s just fine, didn’t we? There’s no reason it wouldn’t work again.
As president, Jimmy Carter did not survive it.
Rationing makes people think of failed and semi-failed states, like Venezuela. I doubt that’s something Biden and the Dems want to be associated with right before the mid-terms.

Yes, people can't afford Biden gas, which is why they're hitting the road in record numbers.
Hint: gas is expensive because there's a lot of demand for it.
So which is it?

And less gasoline being sold in a rationing program will also stick it to oil companies and gas stations who’ve been gouging prices and profiteering while blaming Joe for high gas prices while they laugh all the way to the bank. Time to wipe the smiles off big oil’s face.
Problem solved.

If a dollar more per gallon is going to wreck your entire budget, you’re lazy, made poor life choices, and deserve your fate. You didn’t make anything of yourself and instead of acknowledging that you’re a failure, you just want “oWn ThE LiBs!!!”
Do people still wonder why there is so much division and talk of civil war in this country? Attitudes like this will be point number one when they look back.
Yeah sure. It’s not the side that proudly flys actual rebel flags all up in everyones face, huh?
In light of politics this past year, rebellion is what it’s going to take to right the ship.
