I haven't read all 77 pages, but I did binge read a bunch on my phone while on a long drive with my husband.... Once OP dropped off I couldn't keep reading.

Anyway, seeing this thread pop up again, I do have a question for you. Apologies if it was asked between pgs 28 and 77.

What is your long term plan, OP? Will you get a job? What about when this ends? Everything ends... What will you do? Can he buy you a place, so at least you have something to show for your time with him? Do you have investments? What is your backup plan? Do you have family money? I don't begrudge you any of your life choices, they are yours and yours alone, and you'll have to see how everything pans out decades from now.... Who knows how you will feel about how you spent this precious time in your life. But make sure you have something in the works for the next stage in your life.

I just read through most of this post on my lunch hour and boy was that fun!
As a working couple with 3 kids and a LOT on our plate, our mojo is definitely down.
We make combined nearly $1M per year but we know where every penny goes.
I find it hard to believe that the man in this post can support anyone on 6 figures.
And as for OP and DH/DW? At the end of the day they all win (or lose) depending on your point of view.

I was just observing that there's a way to do what OP is doing and gain a little security, if that is her goal. I don't judge; women have done this for as long as there have been men with wealth. I think it is a fair trade. Marginally attractive aging wealth men can't possibly believe their gorgeous blonde wives would have married them had they been making minimum wage. Everyone gets paid in this fair exchange.
