was this EA?

fun! my DC was excited about that one. hasn't heard anything yet...

Yes EA decisions came out last night. She should check her email.

DC is in! It's for NUin, not London but still a fun option. A little money offered, but still pretty expensive.

Congrats! SO expensive, right?

Thanks! Yup, DC will need to weigh options after RD decisions come out. Studying abroad this fall is definitely appealing though!

The London Scholars is the whole year. Even more appealing right now!

In this case “some” is $50k Canadian (about $37K US) over 4 years.

How can you even have 5 years of foreign language in four years of high school? Are you counting middle school? LOL Just get to the AP level, which is 4th year at 99% of high schools.

Yes. You can have five years including middle school. Our daughter didn’t take a foreign language senior year.
Not really relevant for the schools they are in; more for the ones they are waiting for.

How “good” is one’s foreign language with a 5 in AP? I know that for AP Chinese, getting a 5 is probably equivalent to a native kid in the second grade?
