parents should have checked here first or the old mclean post assuming things were aired out. Caveat emptor
you guys are the toughest crowd.Dont feed the posts you perceive as troll posts. However if the shoe fits… dont cry about it. As far as teenagers go. They keep their talents on tiktok. You know the parents own this old message board. Cant hide behind kids here. Check out some other topics if the skin is thin. Like the very promising new club. Lots of good ideas being tossed in there. Maybe something for those of us with younger girls to pay attention to.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Remember that this is an anonymous form. Parents are known to have whole conversations with themselves on this forum - playing both sides. Deflection and trolling is key! Oh and harassing teenagers.
or maybe you do believe what you read here. Vs the internet hype beast. Are you who you say you are? Am I ? Is this real or entertainment?Anonymous wrote:Remember that this is an anonymous form. not sure. I don’t think GA will have enough time to be a viable exposure landscape for the commitment and sacrifice.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It’s not about chasing a badge — it’s about finding the right fit where your player can truly shine. Agree. There is enough talent in GA at this age group (not at the level of ECNL fairly) and enough exposure to make GA a viable option. Question is, where are girls willing to go? Teams seem pretty even.
If you live in Loudoun is it worth it to drive to SYC (currently in 5th) rather than staying close to home at NVA (currently in 6th)? If you live in Alexandria are you driving out to VRSC?

Shocker. DB is not a good coach and plays favorites while CW was successful only when there were two elite options in the area. Neither are good at promoting team chemistry and neither are good communicators. CW is respected due to age and longevity but nobody respects DB. Everyone knows the "promising new players" from NVA and VDA are just chasing the ECNL badge.
on the topic of badge chasing, does anyone know where all the ecnl cuts from last season ended up?? did most go to syc/revolution or are they all on fvu?
1 or 2 at VRSC, 1 at SYC then a few at McLean.
Nope just looking for a good environment to play in. Where else would they go, RL?
DMV is going GA kicking and screaming.

speaking of chasing the badge. The players who got turned down by Arl were also chasing the badge right?Anonymous wrote:Speaking of FVU. Humility is a treasure. When you have average players who look down on their peers, you have to be ready for the consequences. Because when you fall, everyone will laugh at you unfortunately. So the lesson is, if you want to look down on your peers, you better be really really good.
that other thread says tha this is a lie. CW may have in a desperate attempt to keep you with the club asked. The 2010 team was united in not having your help. The 10s didn’t need or want your assistance. You couldn’t even help the 11s, injuries or not the 10s were fine. Please don’t expose yourself trying to rewrite history.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Fvu did lose a key player from last year’s team - the goalie. Some others departures were responsible for some awful chemistry. The team is having more fun this year, despite some losses. Obviously the coaching is lacking so there’s that.
Onward !
May be you don't want to believe it but they were key players for FVU and got invited to play with 2010 in the playoffs.
