It's hard to believe you truly think california's leaders have prepared for and responded "very well" to this disaster.

Actually they have. The wind speeds and uncharacteristically dry conditions this time of year which is fueled by climate change has created a historic disaster. CA has a network of firefighters across the state and globe that have been brought in. Cal Fire has over the years traveled globally too to assist. Unlike the political maga trolls these folks work together to save lives while you spread lies to further your pea sized agendas. CA has shelters in place, laws to protect against price gouging and grift, and programs on top of the federal programs to help middle and low income residents.

Another thing that I wish people understood better is the nature of disaster management planning. It is an ever evolving process. There are so many variables that it’s impossible to anticipate or plan for all of them. When a disaster occurs, it teaches planners new things and reveals weaknesses or failure points in existing knowledge and systems.

One example of this that received heavy press coverage and that people may remember is Katrina and pets. Something like 40% of people who refused evacuation did so because they couldn’t take their pets. There were also large numbers of animals that had to be put down because shelters were overflowing and in the total chaos, rescuers could not do anything else.

Because of this, 30 states have laws or regulations that support evacuating pets with their people, and planners and private rescuers work to more effectively save and shelter separated pets.

That's not quite what Gov. Newsom and LA Fire Chief Crowley are saying.

OK now we see what is going on, crisis actors, internet trolls, the corporate media are working hard now to make the fires a Democrat problem--they are going to work hard to get those jucy California electoral votes and house seats. This is their priority now--not rebuilding and recovery.

Governor Newsom has said there needs to be an investigation of what happened and what went wrong. He's neither a Republican nor a troll. Don't think he works for corporate media either.

Nothing you said negates anything in my post.

It is always good to assume other people are as smart as you and can see through your cleverness.

I'm going to assume you didn't lose your home, business, or loved one(s) in the fires.

Oh you got me! I feel so guilty now! I will never doubt anything you say again because you are so concerned about everyone and I a ghoul. You are so right! No more discussion to be had, unless you of course have something to say. Your voice is the only one that matters
