Meh. I bet the producers made them say it. A friend was a producer on Joe Millionaire back in the day and still works in reality tv; he says lots of stuff that is said is pushed by the producers.

Cringe. She flirts with him like he is a hot guy. Everything seems oversexualized.
+1
Gerry seems like a guy who can chuckle at those bawdy jokes, but he doesn't really respect that in a woman that he wants to marry. Seems like he prefers someone with more tact (? not sure that is the right word). He wasn't into Saundra with her cursing. And I think there were others, like April, who were more into the dirty words. He uses more nuanced euphemisms.

Given his generation, he may have also have liked that she has not had sex since her husband. Leslie said it had been one year.
Per Gerry, there was no sex in either fantasy suite. They talked all night since no cameras and could have deeper conversations.
Where did you see that? I didn’t get that sense from the episode.
DP. Everything Gerry said was about how overnights would be different at this age, and he really wanted the pillow talk, etc., etc. He didn't give any impression when talking to Jesse or any interviews that he was going to have sex. Quite the opposite. I always had the impression that he was saying "don't look for sex here." Plus, he has been chaste for years. He's not going to have sex with one and then go to the other. That's not the guy he is.
You are inferring that, it is not a fact. Remember how he talked about knocking boots? And thankfully, he said he would never tell.

"Waking up with Theresa felt like the first day of the rest of my life." He seemed much kissier with Theresa, which is telling. Also said he felt elated telling her he loved her from the bottom of my heart. Maybe he's just confused, but does seem like he changed his mind.

Cooking videos to make her seem more well-rounded (not just a pretty face). It comes across to me as to me as too calculated.
In the end, you have to have the personality to carry the leading role. The personality she showed while on the show was a more quiet, reserved, cautious and graceful personality. That's perfectly fine in the real world. It makes you a lovely friend, co-worker, mother. Doesn't make you a good lead. A lead needs to have a happy, open, confident personality.
Someone is telling Joan that she can be the next bachelorette if she raises her profile.
Yes, she's become quite the try hard. Not pulling it off imo.
