SW did not belong in the A bracket.
Having the winner of A play winner of B is really poor. The big game was MDU vs M&D and M&D did their thing. No reason to have a Crush 30/31 squad get sacrificed like that
B bracket should have been YJMA, SW, Blue Star, Crush and Legends

They should be the best team in the B bracket!
Kudos to Sky Walkers for jumping into the top division, but YJMA should swap with them.
It's a new season. SW could have gotten better.
Looking back at last years NGLL scores it would have to be a wholesale reboot but again love seeing them take on the challenge and not hide from competition

Middle school admissions can be very competitive, especially at K to 12 schools. Having a coach take interest and advocate internally for your child can be the difference in being admitted vs getting waitlisted.

I gotta assume SW 30 is in the bracket based off the strength of their older grad years and club rep, this isn't something the 2030 team itself controls.
For the Thinklax Tournaments, the teams get to select the level. Choices are 1A to 5A (most difficult) . I remember seeing the sign up sheet when it was posted before. SW signed up for 5A. I also remember YJMA signed up for 3A.

how did the middle school recruiting and sixes tournament go?
I don't understand the middle school recruiting events. Do kids get actual scholarship to go play for middle school/or high school private school teams?

I’m under the impression that there are some schools that offer partial scholarships for athletes. Is this not the case?
Not an official scholarship. Merit based aid is available to offset the outrageous cost of private school.
