GOOD! It's time for admin to WAKE UP and take these damn things seriously.

Yes, this is long overdue. Time to charge parents who help their children be violent like in this case and in the Crumbley case. And time to charge the admins who ignore teachers pleading for help with violent kids like in Abby Zwerner's case.

The dad is involved based on social media. He does not have criminal charges to my knowledge but watches a lot of violence and porn and doesn't react when kid talks about shooting people. Grandparents and great grandfather (who has custody) involved too. It's just that all let him play GTA as a preschooler, and joked about his rage and lack of emotional regulation.

I don't know what will happen in Abby's case. I do know that what happened to her, the crime committed against her by the student, the students' caregivers and the admins, has done a lot to turn potential young teachers away from the profession.

It was an interlocutory appeal so while she gets to go to court now, the issue of whether she is entitled to recovery through workers’ comp or through the tort system will still get decided by a higher court later. It’s not really a victory.

He’s in the picture, they’re just not married. He’s also a pothead according to records.

There is nowhere for deeply disturbed children to go. The only people willing to take them in are predators.
