That’s a good question. I have a friend who works for a handful of big-name concert tours, and most definitely do midweek shows. That would seem to make sense, too, from a standpoint of not keeping your crew and equipment tied up for days and days when they’re not actually working. But maybe TS wants more downtime. Or some other behind-the-scenes issue…. Someone upthread was speculating that the weekend dates are being used to gauge interest and that more dates will be added to the most popular cities. That seems like a good theory too, though I imagine everyone would already know that at least some venues, like NJ, have enough interest to support more dates.
Would she really add another night to a city like Philly, where she’s already doing 3 shows? I’m sure she’ll want some days off. Has to be exhausting.
