They refuse to life and raise their kids in Ohio because they are coastal elitists who only wanna hobnob with wealthy coastal peers.
I'm curious to know more about him, his wife and caste. I take his wife is from the highest caste? How does this play out in the US? Is it easy to tell how she would be likely to act? Is it typical for upper caste Indians to act out these prejudices in the US?
I can’t stand Vance, his wife, or MAGA, but this conversation is just as racist as they are. I actually agree that they both clearly to have contempt for/look down on poor and uneducated Americans, but that’s because of their education and current social circles. Not her “caste”. Usha Vance is an American with Indian heritage. Attributing any of her behavior to her family’s caste in India, with zero evidence for it, is racism.
I’m an Indian-American. It is not racism, it is a fact. If anything, PP is underselling how much Brahmins and their spouses despise lower class persons.
JD Vance is lower class.
In Indian caste logic, he is an American Dalit, and being a Senator doesn't change that.
He was an embarrassment at upper class Yale.
Why would a Brahmin like you describe marry that?

Walz's "George W Bush high on Halloween candy" schtick is off-putting, but that's where we are. Goofy doofuses are fine people, but not Presidential.
He's basically daring Trump and Vance to prove thet aren't lizard people in skin suits, and they can't do it. That's where the bar is.

I actually hate this man. I would be happy to donate to any strong challenger in Ohio who wants to take away his Senate seat in 4 years. Vance sucks.
Futile. Incumbent senators basically never lose. He is a an eager scholarship boy sellout plucked from central casting, backdoored into YLS with mediocre stats, and given a book and movie deal to be a politician for the next 40 years. They want this dweeb as the face of open borders, WWIII, and globalism.
