He’s already seemed tired of her lately, less and less tolerant and more and more rolling his at eyes at her over the top we’re so in luuvv aren’t we just too precious we’re so hot for each other ad nauseum. It has to be exhausting. She may sense this as she seems to get clingier and more hyper and desperate to prove he’s committed. Really sad to watch.

I don't have an issue with Sydney's behavior. I take issue with her mom's really, really weird interest (obsession?) in her sexual behavior. So much so that her child's sexual behavior is content (therefore revenue generating) for her. It's an ironic thing to sleep with randos and then be pimped out by your mom to spill the tea about it


Of all her kids, Jen is very weirdly focused on Sydney and her relationships. Way back at the first Me Camp in Maine, she was sizing up every young, bright woman as a potential mate for Sydney- I thought, why is she talking about this? Why is she so weird? She certainly isn't looking for someone for Caleb or Ben.

The absolute funniest plot twist would be if Sydney ended up marrying a man.

I have no issues with Sydney's behavior. She's young and full of life and is at the point where she can throw caution to the wind and see the world and have fun romances in foreign places. I did the same at her age, so I'm no one to talk. I have no regrets.

I do have a big problem with her mom making this part of her trip a topic of discussion on her podcast. I would have been absolutely mortified if my mom made me chat about my backpacking hook ups with a random group of her friends back in the day! It seems like Syndney is totally okay talking about it but her mom should never have brought it up as a discussion topic. Terrible protective instincts and terrible boundaries. Moms aren't buddies with their kids. It's just so cheap and gross.

Just seems like she’d have more to say and speak more confidently and eloquently. Why have her on the podcast and then choose that particular clip to promote it? Who did they think they’d attract or inspire with this content?

This family needs to invest in media training if they want to try and soft launch the next generation.
