Hyperbole is an influencer’s lifeblood.

I bet they spent 90% of the weekend on their phones pretending to listen to each other, 5% of the weekend creating stories and photos for their followers and the rest of the weekend disappointed with the entire farce, wondering why it all feels so hollow and sad.

Well, after Tyler’s book being released by Amazon six days ago on January 14th, it’s now been marked down by 40%. From $28 to $16.80.

I have many women friends, in various cities and states. For us to get together takes so much planning. Why? Because we have JOBS. NOT because we need a cheerleader like Jen to encourage us to live larger and have more fun. Yes, JOBS.

Not exactly related but kind of. I was on a cruise recently with a group of middle-aged fashion influencers. Not with them with them but it was a small ship and they were near our space enough to where I got a good show.

I have no beef with whatever women want to do to earn a living or make themselves happy. I have never been on the "Why doesn't Jen get a real job" bandwagon.

But seeing these women was quite an experience. How they came "on" for the camera and played the role of someone enjoying a lovely vacation for a few seconds and then griped and whined at their signifiant other/+1 people about angles, wind, and how the regular people on the cruise were "in their shot."

Pretend enjoyment, pretend drinking the drinks, pretend vacation, pretend life. All for the gram.

I thought this was probably what it is like to be next to Jen and whoever is telling her what to do and say. Seeing this in person was cringey and made me feel like I needed to wash my hands.

No one wants this book, Big Sass.

So BIG SASS writes a book about racism (obviously an important topic, but like others have said, he missed his moment in 2020) based on a bad experience with a old lady, white neighbor in his childhood…YET the only reason he has any shred of relevancy is due to middle-aged/ old white women buying his books and fawning all over him. The irony is not lost on most of us. Truly, I’d love to see one black friend on his social media.

Poor Jen. As lost as she is…. I can’t help but feel sorry for her. This “relationship” is nothing but embarrassment and heartache.
