right but SJC hardly beat Landon last year as it came down to the final second and Landon stunk last year.

GP handed it to Landon earlier this year too.

Hard to compare 2020 results with 2021 results.

GP is very good this year, they are as complete team in all areas on the field.

“Hardly beat”. Ok. Hopefully we will get a chance to see them play this year. Based on what I have seen SJC will put it on them again.

Agreed!

When does SJC play Prep? Will it be a contest?

Prep wasn’t much competition for SJC last year.

Prep v SJC at Byrd Stadium Memorial Day weekend.

Really or is this a troll?

Is that the Geico National?

Why are these ranking showing scrimmage results?

Where did he live his sophomore year?

Who cares? Kid could be traveling from VA. None of your business where he stays.

Just getting clarification of the level of hypocrisy.

Let's all just stop pretending with regards to recruiting. It happens. It will continue to happen and I don't see anything wrong with it. I am not sure why the HOS's within the IAC have an issue, but my guess is it is outdated. Bullis and Prep are just most recent schools to do it, but make no mistake, they all do it in some form or fashion across a number of different sports. Let's just stop the charade and the hypocrisy of calling out schools for doing it, as all of the schools are in the same glass house.

On to the games and the tourney...

Curious that GZ is still ranked so high above PVI after the head to head where PVI dominated. PVI goalie was huge in that game, speaking of fogo v. goalie value.

I really don't understand how Casey does it. I wonder who he texts at US Lacrosse to garner votes.

Gonzaga shouldn't be ranked in the top 30 this year. Obviously some of the folks who do these polls clearly have not seen them play this Spring. This is the weakest GZ team in years and and I have said before, GZ best days very well could be behind him with Georgetown Prep restoring a power hold in the IAC (attracting more Mater Dei kids than in the past) and now the rise of SJC. They were absolutely dominated by PVI in the second half last week. Gonzaga wouldn't be top 4 in the IAC this Spring.

And yes, Spalding is VERY GOOD this year.

Awesome to see some new blood teams in the MIAA finally get some serious attention.

Something tells me the MIAA championship will come down between McDonogh and Spalding.

Unfortunately there are a handful of people who hate Bullis, and feel that what they did is wrong. It wasn’t, and if a kid wants to sleep at a staff members home, it is not against IAC rules
