Brunswick was a very good team and could definitely compete in the IAC. They are one of the two best teams Landon played this year. The WNE Lacrosse league is very good and fairly deep Deerfield, Salisbury, Avon, Taft, Brunswick, Hotchkiss, Loomis, Choate etc
Epstein from Landon had an epic season, and I have heard he already has broken the career points record for Landon with his senior year left to play. Landon has had some great attackmen, Jake Byrne and Matt Ward, so that is pretty rare air for Epstein to occupy. Hopkins might have some needed offense on the way.
Trippi was POY last year but was more or less shut down by the Landon's James in their last game. I think one of the Landon boys should be POY this year. Trippi is a great player on a very good team, but the bulldogs couldn't get it all done this year. I think we will continue to hear from him at UNC if he develops his right hand.
Landon has four seniors headed for Navy: Shockey (FOGO); Nate Buller (attack); Cam James (defense); and Corcoran (goalie). They've got a great tradition developing with a Landon-to-Navy lacrosse pipeline (Navy's 2016 captain, Pat Keena, was a Landon grad).

Main problem for him at UNC is named Colin Munro. Trippi will need to change positions to get on the field as UNC. Munro is the lefty attack starter for the next 4 years at UNC.

Brunswick is a fantastic team-18 or so DI commits. The other team that I was really impressed with (besides Bullis) was St Ignatius out of San Fran-a bunch of commits to Duke Harvard and UVA among others. Proves lacrosse is a national game now and Landon should get even more credit for beating the best from all over the country. Others have said it and I agree-this year's Landon team may be the best team ever in DC.

The New England West is consdeired one of the best lacrosse conferences in the country. Brunswick already has wins against Deerfield, Salisbury, and Avon. All of these programs are nationally recognized. I don't think Brunswick would have a tough time playing in the IAC as they are already running train in their own conference in which many would argue is on par with the IAC if not better.

Well since you have the time to check WaPo for my comments, check gametimect.com and Greenwich Times. I post in both of those under the same UN as well. And re: my WaPo posting - since you apparently have so much free time to read (and oddly recall) my WaPo comments, you saw the ones about Rye playing Robinson (and applauding them for doing so). I only knew about that game before it happened because Rye is about 2 minutes from the Greenwich border and gets run in the Greenwich times (as a ton of RCDS kids come from Greenwich). Next.

Can a guy who is basically a FOGO make a legit claim to the All Met POY? I agree he is a SICK FOGO but he is just that - a Face-off, Get-off guy. Not a knock, it is an amazing specialized skill (and one that I lacked as a middie growing up) and he is beyond impressive at it.
