wasnt there another coach on boys side that was also good but left? why did he leave?
Here comes the... "He left for family reasons, to spend more time with his wife and kids" like he hasn't been married for 10+ years and has older kids. People don't just up and leave their career to spend more time with family all of a sudden during a season. Let's be real
Coaches leave because they aren't give a the authority they think they deserve, the choice of coaching a team they developed, the backing of the director, the pay or all of the above. At HYS... It could be all of those things

Anonymous wrote:At Herndon, these boy team coaches all left after the fall season:
2008 ECNL-RL (first coach quit in late spring a month after tryouts, then second coach left, HYS told parents not hiring another coach)
2010 ECNL-RL
2011 ECNL-RL
2013 ECNL-RL
2014 pre-ECNL
So almost all of their boys 1st teams lost their coaches. A coach who had the 2nd 2010/2013 team also left.

Are there even any girl's teams that are winning? I thought we didn't even have girl's teams at every age group and that's why we borrowed a couple teams from Sterling?

Anonymous wrote:OK, people need to calm down a bit. If you look at the HYS website or are familiar with the club, then you know that those 5 teams a PP listed were coached by a total of two coaches. It's not 5 coaches who left, at least not for those teams. For 3 of the 5 teams there is a new coach who transitioned in well before the previous coach had their last day. Those teams were not suddenly left without a coach.
It stinks to have a coach leave midseason, but things are not as dire as this poster is trying to make it sound. Not sure what their motivation is, maybe they just like drama.
