If the first 911 call came around 7:45am, what time did the Aupair leave the house with the child? before 7 am? in the middle of winter, taking a 4 year old to the zoo at this time? Firstly, I can't believe that this child's mother had this brilliant idea, so she could be with another man and fulfill a sexual fantasy. And why did the Aupair call her husband when she saw a strange car instead of calling CB? And why did the husband drive back from work so quickly, instead of calling his wife first and asking what was going on? None of these facts make sense. anything
“Banfield had gotten Magalhaes tickets to take Banfield’s 4-year-old child to the zoo”.
Washington National Zoo does not require a ticket. So we are left with Leesburg and Reston, both of which are closer in proximity to the home but do not open until after 9am. Still WAY too early to have left for. Also, their daughter had preschool that day. Why would they have sent her to the zoo on a school day (which they paid for) when she could have gone to the zoo on the weekend?
The national zoo actually does require a timed entry ticket.
No, it doesn’t. At most it requires you to pay for parking. Entry is free.

Sincerely trying to be objective here but this makes no sense to me. BB already had Ryan incapacitated, but he told AP to go get his (other?) gun from the safe, which she would have access to and be able to open? Why would there be any need for both of them, one of them presumably with little to no firearm experience, to have guns drawn on an already-shot JR?

“Ryan supposedly stabbed Banfield several times in her neck. Magalhaes’ lawyer said Banfield’s husband shot Ryan in his head, not killing him, but in a way the medical examiner said would have blinded Ryan. The lawyer said Banfield’s husband told Magalhaes to grab his gun, which she got out of a safe in the bathroom. Magalhaes said Ryan started flailing around or posed a threat of some sort, possibly moving to get up off of the ground. Her lawyer said that’s when she shot Ryan, hitting him in the heart, and killing him.”

The story is coo coo for cocoa puffs. An insane amount of lies, starting with the assertion that the AP forgot the kid's lunch, went back to the house, saw a strange car and was so concerned she called the husband, and then because she was scared she took herself and the child INTO THE HOUSE.
I really want to read the transcript of this hearing.
Yeah, so think about this timeline. AP leaves with the daughter. Supposedly JR arrives and starts doing God knows what with the wife. AP realizes they forgot the lunch but was close enough to come back and get it instead of just buying a lunch at the zoo? If you’re already down the toll road why on earth would you come back? And if you’re just in the neighborhood, how could he have gotten there so quickly and started to attack Christine? The time isn’t timing.
