She had a full time nanny turned household manager, chef, housekeeper etc.
+1. All this spamming for her is so fake. It's hilarious.
I don't think so. There are a lot of SAHMs here married to wealthy men and this case hit a sensitive spot.

Anonymous wrote:It was already reported that she got $400k for her legal bills (she’s still on the hook for more than half as they exceed $800k) and the prenup is being enforced, unchallenged, else she faces a million or more in penalties plus paying his legal fees if she challenges it.
So it sounds like she’s getting what is outlined in the prenup, plus $60k/mo. that the judge already ordered for CS until the kids age out. She’s getting peanuts from a guy worth $400+ million, after giving him the best part of her life and three beautiful kids.
He’s a prick of the highest order. I hope his Horizon films sink like a stone at the box office.

Spamming? Fake? Speak for yourself. I think he's a cheapskate.
I believe in honoring contracts. Don’t sign anything if you have a problem with the terms. She had all these resources and did nothing up get cosmetic work done and buy expensive clothes…shallow.

Do they still use that absurd argument that the woman needs to maintain her lifestyle?

The original prenup was so over the top that there was no appetite for people to side with him. My guess is she got a lot less than first wife but won’t need to get a job. Hopefully they can do parent. Would also not be surprised if they got back together at some point. He doesn’t want to be divorced but she needed to finally stand up for herself from a financial point of view. She may not want an old guy though.
What craziness is this? Literally nobody cares about either of them. I suspect the settlement is not favorable to her.

This is not his first divorce. And they didn't make the 400M over their years together - he brought that into the marriage and should rightly keep all of it, including the growth. She traded her looks for a seat at the table in Costnerworld. She should have never left. I'm sure she's realizing that now. I like that Wasser & Co. keeps pressing her on the fact that she doesn't plan to get a job. Shows her true colors.
She's always been a FT SAHM, which presumably he also wanted. Makes zero sense to change this at a vulnerable moment in the kids' lives.
That was her choice. I suspect she is doing it now vs 5 years from now because she thought she’d have a better chance to challenge the prenup when the kids were still minors.
I have a different theory. Costner’s income will decrease now that he has walked away from Yellowstone. She filed for divorce now because the Yellowstone income is still on the table for calculation purposes. In 2024, his income will be his investments only and therefore less support for her.
Yellowstone is done though. How would that be on the table for calculation purposes for the next several years worth of CS?
The entire Yellowstone series is now syndicating on prime time CBS on Sunday nights! Someone is making a mint off that. I predict with this behind him, he goes back and films another Yellowstone season or two.

From TMZ, which has an in with his lawyer:
Although the prenup is enforceable, our sources say Christine got more than what was prescribed in the doc ... for the sake of settlement.
Very vague. I want to know exactly how much she’s getting and if it’s way over the prenup.
