Same. I used to be very sympathetic towards Anna because I know two people who left the Fundie movement once they reached 18. One is female and the level of education she received is appalling. My wife was assigned to the ICAC taskforce for a year. It was a very hard year for her. She sat me down one day early into her assignment and gave me signs to watch for in her, like depression, increased alcohol intake, and suicidal thoughts. It scared the crap out of me to learn that those in that field have a higher than average rate of suicide and alcoholism.

Anyone who works or worked to bring these predators down are literal heroes.
