Without knowing the context and who said it, how can we know if it's accurate? Meghan and Harry have an agenda they are pushing. It serves their purpose to have everyone view the Royal Family as evil and racist.

Hmmm. Silent treatment? After his wife said the BRF was racist? What is there to wonder about?
Interesting how calling out racism gets more flak in some circles than the actual racism.

I think Megan Markle coming out on Oprah to discuss such a faint shade of racism in a year such as the year we've just had is extremely out of touch and goes to show what a privileged jerk she is. I don't care if someone asked how dark her baby might be. I really don't. It's not news that the BRC might be not be as woke as her CA a** and how slighted she feels in a pandemic year and a year of police brutality and murder....pffffttt. NO ONE cares. Go live your richy rich life in Santa Barbara and good job on alienating your husband from his family. YOU SUCK.
If someone asked her with concern how dark skinned her baby would be, that is not "a faint shade of racism." Are you kidding? (I obviously have no idea if this happened, but the allegation is not trivial from my perspective.)
If it was Charles (who also walked her down the aisle remember?) - it might have been old person cluelessness along the same lines as referring to people of Asian descent as "Orientals".
Perhaps it wasn't intended to be offensive, it might have just been curious politeness that was spun out of control. Given the track record of these two grifters (H&M) I lean towards it being innocuous comment by out of touch royalty.
Or it might have been William, we don't know. What's also interesting is that Harry, who overheard the comments, chose to share them with Meghan -- who would have been more directly hurt by such comments.
While the comments might not have been intended to be offensive, they were in no way "innocuous ". Racism, even casual, built-into-the-culture racism is never innocuous.

Huh!? What silent treatment? They talked to him after the funeral. There are plenty of pics and video of of this.
William requested not to walk next to him. Allegedly Princess Anne, Edward, and Sophie did not talk to him at all and there certainly are no videos of them doing so.

That is too bad. After so much privilege, wealth and the easy job of breeding the queen, why did he not educate himself and become a better person?
He was almost 100 years old. How many woke centenarians are there? Not saying it's okay, just that he's partly a product of his time, and old people are not as mentally agile as younger people.
+1 Seriously! Some of these woke folks are going to be in for a shock when they're several decades older and being judged by younger generations.
Not really. I’ve made many mistakes in my life but I’ve been on the right side of history for the things that matter.
How old are you? Because unless you're at least 80, it's too soon to claim that. Look at all the threads there've been in this forum about TV shows we enjoyed 20 years ago that we now recognize as full of homophobic humor and casual misogyny.
