What's your point? That it's ok to kill people who criticize you. Because that's a characteristic of dictatorships and repressive regimes, not the United States of America.
My point is I don't understand the sudden uproar when this country has been happy to do business with the Saudi's forever. And you STILL don't want to cut your personal oil consumption. How is that?
Because we produce more oil than the Saudis now. US oil imports are down and exports are up. MBS is not Saudi. He’s just the temporary thug in charge.
We produce more oil now only because Americans elected Trump. Our last President did every he could to reduce American oil production. Obama was satisfied to continue our dependence on the Saudi's to support American oil consumption. Come to think of it, perhaps he has some blood on his hands. He should have allowed more American oil production... and reduced our dependence on the Saudi's.
Perhaps one day Obama will express remorse for this grave error in his judgement.
Are you wrong about everything or just this?
+1. Funny how the Obama bashing narrative needs to change when you look at actual data.

They didn't kill him in US. They are dictatorship and they are not denying it, it is their form of governance. They killed hundreds of people during Obama administration, including stoning women. Why is anyone shocked about this one?
And how is this different from US killing of Osama bin Laden?
Hmm. I just can’t think of any way the Osama bin Laden and Khoshoggi cases are different. SMH. Tell me nobody is really this stupid. This is not even good trolling.

The way you write shows you are not a native English speaker. Maybe go read up on international norms that the US follows and then maybe you will understand why Saudi Arabia’s behavior is unacceptable.

Any clue what drove our oil production?

Key Senate leaders emerged from a briefing Tuesday with CIA Director Gina Haspel convinced that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince was complicit in the murder of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi and that Congress must respond by penalizing the kingdom.
“He murdered him, no question in my mind,” Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said of Mohammed bin Salman’s role in the killing. “The crown prince directed the murder and was kept apprised of the situation all the way through.”
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who had demanded the Haspel briefing, called the crown prince a "wrecking ball" and suggested the evidence against the prince, known by his initials MBS, was overwhelming.
"I think he’s complicit to the highest level possible,” Graham said.
"There’s not a smoking gun. There’s a smoking saw," Graham added, a reference to reports that the Saudi operatives who killed Khashoggi used a bone saw to dismember him after the murder. Khashoggi, a U.S. resident, was killed inside a Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2 by a team of Saudi operatives.
