I don't give a fuck about their religion as long as they don't try to force it down MY throat. I know it is impossible for any person to follow every single law, commandment and instruction in the old and new testaments. The Bible is inconsistent and all Christian religions selectively ignore the parts they don't like.

I cannot say one way or the other if Josh learned anything from getting to hang out and build homes with a family friend for a summer. It sure doesn't sound like a punishment. Maybe that stern talking to and prayer with the church elders and family did change him. But I wouldn't let him near my children, ever.

If he was put in the juvenile justice or family services' programs, it would have been the same - removal from his immediate family and placement with friends or relatives or a foster family. SAME DIFF.
