So sad. Look at the example you are to your children!
I came to this site to learn about the different clubs and their coaches environment etc. what I see is negativity and calling out young ladies for this and that. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Knowledge is power. We need all of the information to make the best decisions for our DDs. If you don’t like it then scram. Nobody is calling out individual players. The clubs and their owners/managers/coaches are fair game especially when they are up to no good. While this forum does tend to focus on the negative in the DMV, maybe that’s because there are have been so many shenanigans in recent years.
Needing info on a club (that no longer exists) … and speculating on their results (w or w/o certain players) does not help with anything. You are just spreading ill will.
Also, if you think certain types of people are “fair game” to bash behind a keyboard, then we would all like to know what club you are at and who you are … so we know to stay away. Thanks!
People…this forum is about information, good and bad. When a club owner disbands the club (i.e. profitable business), the why becomes very important. It seems there are plenty of PPs defending the situation, but it sounds like someone cheated and got caught. I don’t know and we’ll probably never get the true story. I’m not rooting against the club, or the owner, but this info coming to light on this forum is the EXACT purpose of this forum.
First-hand knowledge is power. With that, then be honest. There was no "cheating and getting caught." There are 3-4 former families who clearly have no integrity or character. We know who you are. We've heard what you've been saying to others about former Husel and our kids (your former teammates). Rich of you to come on here and pretend otherwise.
Anonymous wrote:You are all delusional if you think the reason your “DD” didn’t get recruited to play field hockey by a top D-1 program is because your club submarined you. Or gave preferential “recruiting” treatment to other players on the team. That’s not how it works. Your child must perform. They must stand out. They must be the best. They must train hard, attend camps, attend ID clinics, play club and high school (year round), get noticed at Nexus, get noticed at Line-Up, etc. If your child is good enough, college coaches will notice. If they are a star, it won’t matter what club they’re on. You people are all placing blame when the bottom line, it sounds like, is that your “DD” simply isn’t good enough. Stop deflecting and get a reality check.

Honestly does it matter at this point? Hustle isn’t a club anymore and NITs are over.
Will it change anything- obviously, no. But if that is what that club did, then shame on them and they deserved what happened to them.
Hey let’s all be careful here. There are young girls involved, and they had no choice /involvement in the matter. Guesting South African players was a choice the club director likely chose…Not the team/girls. These girls did not “deserve” anything. They were just playing the game they love, and working hard. They would have made NIT either way. Saw this group play at NIT and it was a talented group.
Nobody “deserves” anything. Let’s keep it kind and humane here. This is a sport, not a war zone.
You're right. I just have so much animosity for that club and those parents. Most arrogant, fake people I have ever met.
The results at NIT, without the internationals, tells a different story.
Maybe they would have qualified, maybe not.
Obviously, the club director had doubts.
Don't be an a$$hole. Their results weren't that diff from a lot of local clubs. And these girls worked their butts off. The club that the Arlington Coach funneled people to didn't do that great, either.
For U19, yes we did. They won their bracket and played in the A pool. H came in 3rd of 4 teams in their bracket and then in last place in the C pool. Big difference
You keep trying to paint H as the same issues as other clubs.
You should both stop because neither of you are contributing anything positive. Hustle doesn’t exist anymore. People need to move on.
