Who voted for Hamas, raised its members, indoctrinated them from infancy to hate their neighbors, shelters them as adults, and are complicit in the continued holding of hostages and the consequent retaliation from Israel? Gazans on social media were tweeting IDF and reporting the hostages locations (at hospitals and other areas) on 10/7 and 10/8 but once the Internet was cut off, the communication line ended. The IDF was actually telling parents their kids were alive using the info from Gazans online. The information about the hospital was frustratingly ignored by the Israeli government. They decided to invade Lebanon and not enter Gaza /that hospital until six weeks later, much to hostage families' frustration. It looks like Netanyahu purposely wanted to give Hamas a grace period to hide the hostages.

They think they are smart but their actions show they are not smart militarily. The actions on 10/7 showed Israel is a danger to its people. They killed so many civilians in their attempts to stop Hamas, and they couldn't even stop them.

After trillions of dollars and the best bombs ever created thanks to the US, they cant find Hamas in the Gaza Strip (the size of two Washington DC's). This shows they aren't smart financially or militarily.
The Gaza Strip is tiny yet they spent the first few days after 10/7 invading Lebanon rather than the GS.

The IDF is struggling with burnout already and low conscription rates despite mandatory military service in the country for both men and women. It's largely due to the settlers refusing IDF service.

This is embarrassing when you consider the size of the Gaza Strip, the amount of deaths there per square mile, and the fact that Hamas doesn't conscript women. Hamas should be having the recruitment issues given the deep unpopularity and problems they faced even before Oct 7th but yet their numbers are still high implying they either got new recruits or Israel did not kill any Hamas at all in the past 2 years.

Israel's army only knows how to kill civilians: They killed Israeli civilians on 10/7. They barely killed any Hamas based on the amount of hostages taken over to Gaza. They killed Gazan civilians and Israeli hostages post 10/7 in Gaza.

It is Israel and Palestinians' problem. There is no Hamas without Palestinians and no Hamas without Israel.

I think even if Palestinians became Palestine with a state today, Hamas would still exist as a military to counter the IDF. Israel has failed to show Palestinians that a demilitarized Palestine will be rewarded. The West Bank gets attacked and settled with fervor from the Israeli rightwing. That's the state Israel supposedly wanted: a demilitirazed state and they dont respect the West Bank's borders or sovereignty. It's no wonder Hamas has higher popularity now in the Wb than in Gaza itself. Of course Israel has not even thought about the reality that the "President" of the WB Mahmoud Abbas is 90 years old. What happens if he dies tomorrow?
